A small estate at Dangeau with a consecrated chapel built into a 16th-century dovecote and a restored 19th-century greenhouse used for the dinner, which suits a wedding of about 35 to 40 rather than a large party. It sits in Eure-et-Loir, north of the Loire itself, so factor the drive if guests are basing themselves in Tours or Blois.

A family-owned chateau at Conflans-sur-Anille in the Sarthe, at the northern edge of the Loire Valley about two hours from Paris, hosting weddings and events on an exclusive basis. Prix
not published — ask for the brochure

A hotel chateau at Chênehutte near Saumur whose terraces look straight down onto the Loire, with in-house catering under its own chef. Neither capacity nor rates are published, and the outdoor terrace is the selling point, so agree the indoor fallback and any noise curfew in writing.

A small 17th-century chateau at Huisseau-sur-Cosson inside the Chambord–Blois–Cheverny triangle, where the orangery carries the reception and a marquee extends it. Bedrooms are few, so most guests will stay in Blois; ask what the bespoke quote includes before comparing it with fixed-price estates.

    Château d'Artigny

    Capacité
Grand salon Régence up to 140; Rotonde up to 200; exclusive use up to 300 guests with 56 guestrooms
    Prix
not published — ask for the brochure

A large Belle Époque chateau hotel at Montbazon south of Tours, with a 25-hectare park and an exclusive-use option covering all 56 rooms, which makes it one of the few Loire venues that can house most of a 300-guest wedding on site. Pricing is quote-only, so ask specifically what the exclusive-use figure includes before comparing it with per-head venues.

not published — ask for the brochure

A 35-hectare estate at Céré-la-Ronde near Montrichard where the reception happens in a separate orangerie rather than the chateau itself, and over 100 beds mean a large group can stay two nights.
