Se marier : Ibiza

Ibiza a deux réputations et une seule des deux touche un week-end de mariage. Les clubs et les beach clubs du sud et de l'ouest existent bel et bien, coûtent cher et s'évitent facilement ; le nord et l'intérieur sont calmes, boisés et agricoles, pleins de fincas blanchies à la chaux et d'agroturismos dont le mariage est l'activité principale de mai à octobre. L'île convient aux couples qui veulent une fête petite, chaleureuse et tardive dans un endroit que leurs amis transformeront volontiers en vacances, et qui acceptent que l'île fasse payer un supplément sur tout pendant la saison.

Formentera est à une demi-heure de ferry et fonctionne bien comme excursion pour les invités, beaucoup moins bien comme lieu de réception dès qu'il faut y déplacer cent personnes. Ce qui surprend les couples, c'est la règle du bruit : dans les propriétés rurales, la musique en extérieur s'arrête couramment entre 23 h et minuit, la limite est fixée par la commune et elle est appliquée, si bien que les dernières heures de la nuit se passent à l'intérieur ou pas du tout. Demandez à chaque lieu son heure de coupure et sa licence d'événement avant de tomber amoureux de la terrasse.

    La musique amplifiée en extérieur est plafonnée par l'ayuntamiento et la limite diffère d'une commune et d'une propriété à l'autre. Obtenez par écrit l'heure exacte, et la possibilité de poursuivre la fête à l'intérieur, avant de réserver.

    Une villa privée n'est pas automatiquement un lieu d'événement autorisé, et les fêtes sans licence sont activement contrôlées ici. Demandez si la propriété a le droit d'accueillir un événement de votre taille et qui détient la licence.

    La saison est courte et dense : la plupart des lieux et des prestataires travaillent de mai à octobre, et les tarifs de juillet et d'août pour les villas, les hôtels et les voitures de location dépassent de loin ceux des mois d'épaule.

S'y rendre

L'aéroport d'Ibiza est à une dizaine de minutes d'Ibiza-ville et à environ quarante minutes de l'extrême nord ; il reçoit un trafic à bas coût dense depuis toute l'Europe de mai à octobre, qui s'éclaircit nettement hors saison. Des ferries partent de Denia, de Valence et de Barcelone pour les invités qui voyagent avec leur voiture, et du port d'Ibiza vers Formentera en une demi-heure environ. La plupart des invités voudront une voiture de location ou une place dans votre navette, car les taxis sont difficiles à trouver une nuit d'été. Dites-leur tôt de quel côté de l'île ils logent et comment ils rentreront à 2 h du matin.

Les couples étrangers tiennent très couramment une cérémonie symbolique sur l'île et règlent le mariage civil dans leur pays, et la plupart des prestataires de l'île travaillent sur cette base.
